Second press source about Nazi UFOs

In May 1949 a few US newspapers published (The Washington Daily News May 14; The Akron Beacon Journal May 15) a short story the Air Force believing the flying saucers being real and the product of a new technology based on the “gyroscopic principle” developed by some Nazi scientists fled to Spain.

This looks like the second story about possible German-made saucers published by the press, after the curious story introduced by Lionel Shapiro in November 1947 on several US newspapers.
